JESSIE.....

Jessie was our first Parson Russell Terrier and we fell in love with her and the breed at first sight.

In dazzling white, with a patch over one eye and a heart-shaped marking on her ear, she made people smile wherever she went.

She was a great example of the breed and incredibly athletic, particularly showing us her dramatic flair in jumping for her ball, before trotting back to start the game again. She loved a ball, whatever shape or size!   Some of her favourite moments involved playing football with her ( human ) brother where competition was keen because of her incredible skills!

From the moment we collected her from Linsey and Peter's she fitted easily into our family -or we adapted to suit her needs! Jessie was incrediblly loving with people, especially small children as she accompanied us on the daily school run. She was well known in local restaurants where her smaller size and temperament meant special treats were hastily brought out, as well as joining us paddle-boarding, up and down the river. She also played well with other dogs and continued to attend Kennel Club training sessions with her classmates where she excelled in agility and learning new commands. Like all Terriers she also  had a sassy side and made sure that the other dogs chased her to demonstrate her speed and quick turns.

Jessie enriched our lives beyond measure. This includes staying with her loving Grandparents where she could barely wait for the car to stop before running in to greet them. From long country walks to simply snuggling into one of her many fluffy blankets with family around her, she isc forever in our hearts and thoughts.

We feel incredibly grateful to have shared the time with her.
