Dear Linsey and Peter,

We would like to post a few words on your website to say how delighted  we are with little Barney, (previously Finley).  From the moment we  saw him wander through from your conservatory, we thought what a  gorgeous little dog he was and instantly knew he was right for us.  He  has settled in so well, loves everyone he meets, and is such a fun  loving dog with such a wonderful temperament.  Everyone admires him,  which makes us to proud.  He loves his toys, his walks, and his tail  wags non stop! 

From the first time we spoke to Linsey and Peter, they were extremely  helpful to us, answering all our questions, at a time when we were  very low from the death of our Jack Russell.  We wanted a new JR to  share our lives with, and through the Assured Breeder scheme were so  lucky to find Linsey.  It was clear from the minute we met Linsey how  how devoted she is to her dogs, and how she has such a bond with them.   We know that Barney has had loving care from the day he was born.   We drove to Chester in Storm Eunice to see and collect Barney, and boy  was it worth the trip.  He has made our lives so happy, and we have  continued contact with Linsey and she has been so helpful in every  way, nothing is too much trouble.  Although we have had three Jack  Russells before, this is our first experience of a Parson Russell, and  he's certainly a wonderful dog.   If you are wanting a Parson Russell -  look no further than Auldtoby Kennels where you will get a wonderful  dog and a caring breeder, interested in both her dogs, her puppies,  and those who have a dog from her.  We know that we will always have  ongoing support from Linsey and her husband Peter.

Dear Peter & Linsey

I can't tell you how happy we are that we found you
We began our search for a Parson pup back in July but we had so many reservations about finding the right breeder for us. luckily we found you on the KC page and we contacted you straight away.

Health testing was of the upmost importance to us so that was a relief to know that all your breeding dogs are health tested. We love that you breed for health and temperament.. our Rémy is testament to that, she's an absolute joy and a real bundle of energy.

We had a long way to come and meet you and Rémy for the first time (from Essex) but it was so worth it. We first met Pip (Rémy's mum) and we were blown away by her kind and friendly nature, she was so comfortable with us handling her baby and it was clear to see the bond between her and you Linsey.

You kept us up to date with every thing that was going on from the minute the pups were born with weekly updates, photos and videos which we so looked forward to every week.

Thank you for choosing us to be Rémy's new family. She is every thing we could have wished for.

 When we first saw Meg it took only moments to decide that we wanted her to be part of our family. She is absolutely adorable and she has settled in with us perfectly. Linsey and Peter brought her up in a loving, caring home. She is very well trained and has adapted to our routine quickly. Since bringing her home 3 months ago, Linsey has continued to give us advice and tips when asked and we would definitely recommend them as breeders. Meg has most certainly lightened up all our lives! We had a lovely start to this year getting to know Linsey and Peter from AuldToby kennels and most recently picking up our beautiful Parson Russell - Bernard. Linsey and Peter looked after us really well along the way with updates and advice - they both have great experience with the breed and lots of tales to tell to make you feel rest assured. Linsey has a very kind, calming nature which especially comes out in the puppies and dogs they breed.

We have found buying our puppy from you a great experience from start to finish. Straight away from talking to both of you on the phone we knew we were getting a puppy who had been bred with love and care. I liked the fact that I was “vetted” as a prospective owner, as this reassured me that I was buying from a responsible breeder. The update photos were lovely to receive and the regular contact made us feel like we knew Sailor before we picked him up. On the day we collected him I felt we were given all of the information we needed, and time was taken to explain all of the things we needed to know before we brought our precious pup home.

I recently bought my puppy from Auldtoby kennels and found the whole experience from beginning to end , very professional.
From the moment I had decided upon my puppy, Marvin, Linsey kept me informed of Marvin's progress with regular updates and photographs recording his development.
Linsey also forwarded videos of the pups and I found this to be a really nice part of the service and kept us involved in the whole process.
Linsey was always helpful when I contacted her and I was very impressed with their support and assistance at every stage of the  journey.
Marvin is a lovely dog and that is a testament to Linsey's breeding programme and the care she takes in nurturing each puppy

Hello Linsey

Sorry for the delay in the review – since the website is a reason I bought Monty from you, I should contribute! Please use the following if you think it is suitable.
Monty does seem to have doubled in size – he is very leggy at the moment. Wish we had mastered the house training but he is not following examples and doesn’t like wet paws (sleeting today)! He is learning about the dog flaps – so this is a start.

‘I had 2 PRTs and now I have 3 – I am an addict. Hector and Hebe are both old and I decided to get a puppy. But I am nervous of the world of dog breeding. I picked an Auldtoby puppy in part because of the strength of the website, which gave a good feel of transparency and continuity. Hector, as my first dog and the love of my life, is a Glaswegian Chadbrook kennel dog – a search revealed that Linsey and Peter have been using Chadbrook sires. I am a geneticist and so a nice PRT, from breeders who are careful with the level of inbreeding, is ideal. I was not disappointed. Communication with Linsey and Peter was excellent throughout. Monty is perfect and, after a month, is a fully-fledged family member. It is taking all my will power to resist another youngster from the next Auldtoby X Chadbrook litter. We will stay in touch.

Hi Linsey

I have been meaning to write to you for ages. I just want to let you know how wonderful Meg (star anise) is. She has a wonderful temperament, wants to be friends with everyone and hasn’t given us a disturbed night since she came home with us.

Everyone falls in love with her and say how beautiful she is! You said how much she loved to chew and that has certainly been the case - no shoelaces escape her attention! She started puppy training classes and loved it but unfortunately came into season after the second week. We are going without her and carrying on the training at home.

She has proved to be a great escapologist and we have had to block all escape routes! She has given so much pleasure and we love walking with her. The big test will be when we let her off the lead on a walk!

Just to let you know Bertie has now had his jabs up to date.
The vet thought he was adorable and brought all the other vets in her practice in to see him.
She said “what a pleasure to have a puppy that is lovely wagging his tail playing and loving life”.
She also said that you had done a wonderful job as a breeder as he was so strong and healthy.
He was chewing her stethoscope as she listened to his heart and busy eating a biscuit to notice the jab.
Sent some updated pictures of Bertie now known as Burt the flirt as he really loves the ladies ??xxx
